More than 30 years of marketing and digital know-how
Digital Web World was founded in 2009 by Stephen Clark, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. We started out running SEO, paid search and email campaigns for B2B brands, and clients kept asking us to build and host their websites too. So we got very good at it.
Today we focus on WordPress development and managed hosting, with marketing handled by our sister brand, Happy Otter.

How much does a WordPress website cost?
Our websites start at £3,450 + VAT for a polished small business site of up to eight pages. Larger sites, online shops and multi-site platforms get a fixed quote after a free chat. Our website pricing page has the full breakdown.
How long does it take to build a website?
Most small business sites launch three to five weeks after the plan is signed off. Bigger builds usually take six to twelve weeks. We agree the date in writing before we start.
Do you only work with WordPress?
WordPress is our specialism. It runs around 43% of all websites, it’s flexible and search-friendly, and your team can edit it without calling a developer. If it isn’t the right fit for you, we’ll say so.
Can you take over my existing website and hosting?
Yes. We’ll check your current site, move it to our managed hosting with little or no downtime, and fix any problems we find along the way.
Will my website work with AI search like ChatGPT?
Yes. We structure every page with clear headings, answer-first copy and structured data, and we publish an llms.txt file, so AI assistants can understand your business and describe it accurately.
Where are you based?
We’re in West Sussex, with our registered office at the Sussex Innovation Centre in Brighton. We work with clients all over the UK, on video calls or in person.
