What affects the price of a website?
Three things make the biggest difference. Knowing them up front helps you plan a sensible budget.
- How many pages and templates you need. Ten pages that share three layouts cost far less than ten unique designs.
- What the site has to do. Online payments, bookings, member areas and integrations all add development time.
- Who writes the content. If you supply the words and photos, it costs less. If we write and source them, we include that in the quote.
Questions we’re often asked
Do your prices include VAT?
No. All our prices are shown excluding VAT, which is added at the standard rate.
How do payments work?
For website projects we usually take 50% to book your start date and 50% at launch. Larger projects can be split into milestone payments.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. Your quote lists everything included. The only other costs are things like your domain name, premium plugin licences or stock photos, and we’ll tell you about those up front.
Can I just pay for hosting, without a new website?
Yes. You can move your existing site onto our managed hosting. We’ll check it over first and tell you about anything that needs attention.
