How it works
Cloudflare plus WordPress, in plain English
When someone visits your site, they connect to Cloudflare first. Cloudflare’s network checks the request, blocks anything suspicious, sends cached pages from a data centre close to the visitor and encrypts the connection.
Behind that, your WordPress site runs on servers set up for WordPress, with caching and a lean configuration. The result is a site that’s quicker for visitors and much harder to attack.
We manage both layers for you, so you never need to log in to Cloudflare or worry about server settings.
Green by design
We check our hosting with the Green Web Foundation, which independently verifies whether a website runs on green energy. We also keep pages lean, which means less energy every time someone loads them.

What is managed WordPress hosting?
It’s hosting where someone looks after WordPress for you: updates, security, backups, speed and support. You don’t need to know what a server is. You just need a website that works.
Will moving my site cause downtime?
Usually not. We copy and test your site on our servers first, then switch the DNS when you’re ready, so most visitors never notice.
Do I need Cloudflare if I already have hosting?
Cloudflare sits in front of your hosting. It speeds your site up around the world and blocks attacks before they reach the server. We set it up and manage it on every plan.
Do you host websites you didn’t build?
Yes. We review the site first and tell you about anything that needs fixing before we take it on.
Can you host my email too?
We recommend Google Workspace for business email and can set it up and manage it for you, including the DNS records that stop people spoofing your domain.
Where is my website hosted?
We use UK data centres for hosting, with backups kept in a separate location. If you have specific data requirements, ask us and we’ll confirm the details for your plan.
