These terms apply to your use of dwworld.co.uk. Section B summarises the terms that apply when you buy our services. Your proposal and our full terms of business, sent with every quote, take priority if anything differs.

Content and accuracy

We work hard to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, including prices. It’s provided for general information and doesn’t form an offer. A quote or proposal from us is only binding once it’s been confirmed in writing.

Our articles give general guidance. They aren’t legal, financial or security advice for your particular situation.

Intellectual property

The content, design, logos and code on this website belong to Digital Web World Limited or our licensors. You may view, print and share pages for personal or internal business use, but you may not copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission.

Links to other websites

We link to other websites, including our marketing brand Happy Otter, our clients’ websites and third-party sources. We aren’t responsible for the content or privacy practices of websites we don’t control.

Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse this website. That includes trying to gain unauthorised access, introducing malware, sending spam through our forms or attempting to disrupt the service.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law. Otherwise, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from your use of this website.

B. Our services in summary

  • Quotes. Every project has a written proposal setting out what’s included, the price and the timeline. Prices exclude VAT.
  • Payment. Website projects are usually paid 50% to book and 50% at launch. Hosting is billed monthly or annually in advance. Invoices are due within 14 days.
  • Your content. You confirm you have the right to use any text, images and materials you give us.
  • Ownership. Once you’ve paid in full, you own the website design, content and custom code we create for you. Third-party software, such as WordPress and plugins, stays under its own licence.
  • Hosting. Monthly hosting can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice. Annual plans renew each year unless cancelled before the renewal date. We’ll give you a full copy of your website if you leave.
  • Changes to scope. If you’d like something that isn’t in the proposal, we’ll quote for it before doing the work.
  • Liability. Our total liability under a contract is limited to the amount you’ve paid us under that contract in the 12 months before the claim.

C. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
